i use drag n drop web page software, there can be quirks with the buttons ouline boxes dissapearing when re editing site. Ive been told theyre hosted somewhere else. bizzare! why%26#039;s this?

By your description, you must be using an online site builder, not a program on your home computer. That would explain the location of the graphics. You%26#039;re selecting the graphics from their database and where they have them is not in your control.
But if you%26#039;re building a site on your computer (not on the internet) the images should be in your site folder, not out there on someone else%26#039;s site.
