depends on the site alot of domains give you the tools you need to make your website the way you want it but for the small percentage that dont you can purcase a web design tool kit there are alot of them out there so choose wisely

Other Replys:A website can have simple codes/source or can be made out of complex source codes. You can either use html programming language or Java (for more advanced level programming). In any case you will have to read books and learn the two programming languages, there are several websites that can assist you in this process.

If this is the first time you are building a web page/site use yahoo page builder which makes the process look very simple.
