http://www.freewebspace.com or http://www.50megs.com are two web hosting sites where you can get your own website. You can just right click on any website and click %26quot;VIEW SOURCE%26quot; to see their html code. But you have to write your own html or upload an html file that you copied or whatever into these servers. The good thing about them is that you can have your own name on the web page like yourname.freewebspace.com, yourname would be your own name.

I see a lot of people using http://www.myspace.com to create their first website because they make it user friendly. All you need to do is basically type in some fields and do a few clicking and make a free website through them.
